Zoe Teens is a distinctly, unashamedly, tight-knit Christian homeschool group for teens in 7th-12th grades that has served the Charlotte area homeschooling community since 1989.
Our mission statement is to encourage Christian growth and maturity through fellowship and service activities. Our goal is to honor God and show love for others.
We welcome all homeschooled teens. Teen led meetings are held once a month. Meetings are focused on opportunities for fellowship, worship, developing leadership and confidence in public speaking. In addition to monthly meetings, we offer other activities which give us the opportunity to get together once a week during the school year including service projects, field trips and socials. While the group and meetings are primarily for the teens, the entire family may attend. We welcome younger siblings to participate in age appropriate activities.
One parent is required to be responsible for an easy job. Those who sign up first each school year have their first pick of responsibilities such as outdoor supervisors at meetings, refreshment helpers, greeters, field trip and/or service project planners or clean-up crew to name a few. Also a parent must be with their teen(s) at the monthly meetings. No drop offs allowed.
In addition, Zoe hosts a prom, sponsors a graduation ceremony, and produces a yearbook.
